Rotorflush Filterpump introduction:

These are high quality submersible pumps with their own integral self cleaning intake filters. This allows the high pressure, multi stage pumps to work in water contaminated with suspended solids and produce water filtered from 50-315 microns (depending on application) for use in upstream equipment preventing nozzle blockage and solenoid valve blockages.

Applications:

  • For agricultural, horticultural and landscape irrigation.
  • As washwater pumps on sewage works.
  • Water monitoring instrumentation filters.
  • Instrumentation filters for the pulp & paper industry.
  • As an agricultural low rate irrigation pump for dirty water systems.
  • Rain water reuse systems.

Self Cleaning Filters.

The self cleaning Rotorflush filter is completely cleaned every ½ second keeping any solids away from the filter screen, preventing them entering the system. The very efficient self cleaning action allows fine filter meshes to be fitted without fear of blocking.

How It Works:

The self cleaning part of the filter consists of a rotating housing that has two angled jets. The blue arrows show the main flow of water. This flows through the filter screen and up into the main pump. The red arrows show filtered water inside the filter being sucked into the impeller and ejected out through the rotating jets. These angled jets direct water back through the filter removing any detritus that is beginning to block the screen and also making them rotate at 60 rpm.

Filter Pumps:

Submersible pump with an integral self cleaning intake filter. These pumps have a maximum output of 225 litres/minute and pressure of 10.8 bar. They are fitted with a standard 315 micron aperture self cleaning filter screen(screens down to 50 micron available) . The pumps can work in fluids containing up to 2000mg/litre total suspended solids(raw sewage typically 500-1000 mg/l TSS) They produce a filtered output of fluid which prevents blockage to nozzles, valves and solenoids. Screen apertures - 315, 250, 100 & 50 Micron (300 Micron = 0.3mm)

Filter Pump Low Head Models:

Submersible pump with an integral self cleaning intake filter. These pumps have a maximum output of 300 litre/minute and pressure of 1.1 bar. They are fitted with a standard 315 micron aperture self cleaning filter screen, screens down to 50 microns are available. The pumps can work in fluids containing up to 2000mg/litre total suspended solids(raw sewage typically 500-1000 mg/l TSS) They produce a filtered output of fluid which prevents blockage to nozzles, valves and solenoids. Screen apertures - 300, 100 & 50 Micron (300 Micron = 0.3mm)

Analyser/instrumentation filter system:

A self cleaning filter system for continuously supplying samples for analysers and instrumentation. It provides an economic, easily retro-fitted and very low maintenance system. The wall mounted system takes the existing fluid supply into the filtering chamber, here the self cleaning filter head extracts a sample and delivers it to your analyzer. It can be supplied with interchangeable 50, 80 250 micron filter screens. The filter head is driven by a 120 watt mag drive pump that delivers 0-20 litres/minute, (adjustable), to your analyser. The system is entirely built of PVC and polypropylene so is very resistant to chemicals. Maintenance is minimal, in most situations.

RF200E/400E:

These filters are the same as the RF200R/RF400R strainers. However they have their own backwash pump so are not powered by the pump they are attached to. Screen apertures - 1.5mm, 3.0mm and 6.0mm
